Last week I went and used Ancestry Library. I was so involved in the research I didn't get back to posting here. I looked for my great-grandparents and great-great grandparents and I was able to find many of them on the census records. Then I decided to research my husband's family and discovered that he is from both Sweeden and Norway. Glad to know he is a Norwegian too!
I will have to go back and research my name and look for photos also.
I went back and looked for my name but didn't have any results. I did try to research a family story that my English relatives are decended from Thomas Moore but I haven't found anything to prove ro disprove it. My sister is the one that found the connection in one resource but she is working to verify that seperately. It made for an interesting conversation when I was substitute teaching in history class last week for a colleague.
