I decided to research the civil war. I typed it in and found a variety of resources on several different civil wars. I looked at biographies of a few of them. I found the one that I read on Abraham Lincoln to be really interesting and something that would be appealing to students also.
I also learned that there was an undeclared civil war in Colombia from 1948-1958 between the two political parties. I had already read quite a bit about the very bloody Spanish Civil War but found several interesting articles there as well.

ReplyDeleteI did most of my reading about the Colombian civil war since I hadn't ever heard about it. I was also going to see if I could find my civil war era relatives by doing some geneology research. I thought it might be interesting to see what is available.
